When will the Messenger integration be available?

The Chatim Messenger and Instagram DM integration is coming soon and is not yet available. Sign up for a free Chatim account to be notified when it launches. In the meantime, you can add a Messenger contact button to your Chatim widget so visitors can open a conversation with your Facebook Page directly.

Will Instagram DM work too?

That's the plan. Instagram DM uses the same Meta API as Messenger, so the planned integration covers both - your Facebook Page and the Instagram Business account linked to it.

Will the Messenger integration be free?

The Messenger and Instagram DM integration is planned for Chatim's Pro plan. Meta's Messenger API itself has no per-message costs for standard messaging.

Will my chatbot work on Messenger and Instagram?

That's the planned design: the same chatbot flow you build for your website running on Messenger and Instagram, with content automatically adapted - buttons becoming quick replies and carousels using native Messenger templates.

What can I use today instead?

Today you can use Chatim's Contact Buttons to add a Messenger button next to your chat widget - visitors tap it to open a conversation with your Facebook Page in Messenger. Website live chat and the AI chatbot are fully available now.

Will I need a Facebook Page for this?

Yes. Meta's Messenger API requires a Facebook Page, and Instagram DM will additionally require an Instagram Business Account linked to that Page. Both are free to create.
