How to Install Chatim Live Chat Widget with Adobe Launch

Step 1: Generate and Copy the Widget Code

1. Log in to your .Chatim dashboard.
2. Select your project and click Install in the navigation menu.
3. Click Copy Code to copy the snippet to your clipboard.

Step 2: Create a Rule in Adobe Launch

1. Go to your Adobe Launch account and log in.
2. Select the appropriate property for the website where you want to install the Chatim widget.
3. Click on "Rules" in the left-hand menu and then click "Add Rule" to create a new rule.
4. Name your rule (e.g., "Chatim Live Chat Widget").
5. Under "Events," click "Add Event," select Core as the extension, and choose "Library Loaded (Page Top)" or another event depending on when you want the widget to load.
6. In the "Actions" section, click "Add Action."
7. Choose Core as the extension, then select "Custom Code" as the action type.
8. Paste the Chatim widget code into the custom code field.
9. Click "Save" to store your settings.
10. Go to the "Publishing" tab, add the rule to a library, then build and publish to push the changes live.

Step 3: Test the Widget

1. Visit your website and refresh the page to see the Chatim widget in action.
2. Test the live chat and chatbot functionalities to ensure they are working correctly.

Step 4: Adjust Settings and Monitor Performance

Return to your Chatim dashboard to monitor customer interactions, view analytics, and make any necessary adjustments to the widget's behavior, appearance, or responses based on user feedback and engagement.
