How to Install Chatim Live Chat Widget on Squarespace

Step 1: Generate and Copy the Widget Code

1. Log in to your .Chatim dashboard.
2. Select your project and click Install in the navigation menu.
3. Click Copy Code to copy the snippet to your clipboard.

Step 2: Add the Widget Code to Your Squarespace Site

Option 1: Using Code Injection (Recommended for Site-Wide Installation)

1. Log in to your Squarespace admin panel.
2. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection.
3. In the "Footer" section, paste the Chatim widget code.
4. Click "Save" to apply the changes. This will add the widget to every page of your Squarespace website.

Option 2: Adding the Widget to a Single Page

1. In your Squarespace dashboard, navigate to the page where you want the Chatim widget to appear.
2. Click on Edit and select the location where you want to insert the widget.
3. Add a new "Code Block" by clicking the "+" button, then select "Code" from the options.
4. Paste the Chatim widget code into the block.
5. Click "Apply" and then "Save" to publish the page with the chat widget enabled.

Step 3: Test the Widget

1. Visit your Squarespace site and refresh the page to see the Chatim widget in action.
2. Test the live chat and chatbot functionalities to ensure they are working correctly.

Step 4: Adjust Settings and Monitor Performance

Return to your Chatim dashboard to monitor customer interactions, view analytics, and make any necessary adjustments to the widget's behavior, appearance, or responses based on user feedback and engagement.
